Layout
The contents of the magazine is listed down the side of the page, and an image of one of the stories is placed next to it and the title is made large. This highlights the main story of the magazine and gives some insight of what the story is about, making the reader drawn in and wanting to read the rest of the magazine. The title of the contents is clearly written on the top right of the page, showing what the page is about. Each story is numbered showing the order and page number of where the story is placed in the magazine. This makes it easier for the rea\der to direct themselves through the magazine to the topics they want to read about.

The image shows the old rock artists, this relates to the main story of the magazine. It is pushed to the left side and takes up most of the space emphasising the main storyline and getting readers to look at, and read about it. The clothes used on the people in the image is very old fashioned and brings out the classic feel of the magazine. The image used is black and white and has a classic rustic feel to it, connecting with the genre of classic rock
Language
The text shows all the story lines and and the numbers are made bold to show where they are in the magazine. The tone of the language used is very relaxed and informal. Using the phrase "Rock'N'Roll" also shows the classic genre, and makes the reader automatically know the magazine is about classic rock as this is a very known phrase.
